According to Meta, it was born as a project designed for children's imaginative characters to come to life and see how they become a cartoon that can jump, dance and run.
While people find it easy to recognize drawings, which can sometimes be abstract like a cat with a more human-like body, AI can find it difficult to interpret abstract shapes.
However, researchers at Mark Zuckerberg's company developed a three-step method for using AI to automatically animate hand-drawn figures that are human-like or human-like. .
“By uploading drawings to our prototyping system, parents and children can see their drawings come into motion and dance, jump and run, and download a video of their cartoons to share,” said Meta.

To make the drawing have movement, they developed a system that teaches the AI to identify the human figure in the drawing despite the complexity it might mean. “By teaching AI to work effectively with children's drawings, we hope this project will move us closer to building an AI that can understand the world from a human point of view,” the organization said. It should be noted that this system is still a prototype but those interested in using it can already test it by uploading a photograph of a drawing to the test page. The team has developed a chatbot version of the StudentBodies eating disorder prevention program, which is typically offered through a website and includes informational content, exercises, and journal reminders.

The study recruited women through online advertisements, brochures, and the National Eating Disorders Association's online screening test. Women who did not have an active eating disorder but did have risk factors, such as negative body image or excessive anxiety about their weight, were randomly assigned to interact with the chatbot or sit on the waiting list. .
