"As part of the Citibanamex business and consumer banking sales process, we need to verify your data. Remember that if they are not updated within 24 hours, your account will be canceled," says the false message that has reached different people through email and social networks.

Citibanamex reminded its clients that it never requests personal information, access codes or passwords, either by phone or through messages or by email, for which reason it asked to ignore these types of publications.
