Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel catapulted the popular card game into the digital arena by giving fans a fun and easy way to collect and compete with other duelists from around the world.
The game is already averaging over 185,000 players per day on Steam, and that's not even taking into account the distributed player base across PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
Konami also plans to bring Master Duel to mobile devices, which will open up the platform to what is likely to be its largest segment of players due to the number of people who play on iOS and Android devices. That's where Duel Links became a huge hit and the same should be true of Master Duel, especially since it already has so many elements that will make its players want to come back.
With Master Duel, you have access to cross-play and cross-progress, which means you can play with players on any device and carry your save data over to another platform if you decide to switch. Those who have already started playing on console or PC can easily transfer their progress to their mobile device and continue playing however they want.
Konami has not yet given an official release date for the mobile version of Master Duel, but confirmed that it is coming soon. And considering that the console and PC version of the game came as a surprise, the same could happen with the mobile release.
