Until now, a margin of six automated calls was given before going to a manual for those cases in which people had not responded on any occasion or, if they did, they had not been able to select the appointment.

Now it has been reduced to three calls because there is evidence that older people, who are mainly the ones who are receiving these calls, "get nervous" when they cannot contact to resolve their vaccination appointment.

Of these, almost 60,000 to find out the approximate date of vaccination, an option in which the year of birth must be provided and which is based on the forecasts for receiving vaccines from the Ministry of Health.

Some 18,000 have used 984 016 114 to change phones. Saavedra stressed that it is very important to confirm that the telephone number listed in the Sespa associated with the person is correct. "Between 6,000 and 8,000 people have not answered us and we do not know if the telephone number is correct," he said in this regard. There is another important option, which is the sixth and last, and which is the only case in which a person who has not received the call to make an appointment should now call 984 016 114 to leave their phone number. "If you see that they do not call you and you are over 80 years old, or if you are 64 or 65 years old and neither, call option 6," said Saavedra, who recalled that people in those age groups should already have received an appointment at its set.

Other options are to receive information about vaccines in general and about the particular vaccination status, which would be option four.

Suspected presence of a fourth strain of coronavirus in Caudal
