IFE Universal: How can I change the method of payment of the voucher?

The Universal Emergency Family Income (IFE) is one of the benefits provided by the Government so that families can better face the pandemic.

During July, the families who requested the bonus between June 5 and 15 and the beneficiaries of the automatic payment are receiving the payment of the contribution.

The Universal IFE is aimed at 100% of the Social Registry of Households (RSH), except those who belong to the 10% with the highest income of the population, that is, families with monthly income of over $800,000 per person.

The benefit grants amounts ranging from $177 thousand, in households of one person, to $887 thousand, in families of 10 or more members.

Why did my payment method change?

To make IFE payments, the electronic modality is prioritized over the face-to-face one. However, some people were able to see changes in their payment method and now they must collect the bonus in person.

These changes may occur for reasons such as: that the RUT Account is not active, that it has associated automatic payments or errors when entering bank details.

It should be noted that when there are problems in the electronic transfer, the payment goes to face-to-face mode, ensuring the delivery of the benefit.

In the case of transfers to Banco Estado's RUT Account, conditions such as the account being active in the last six months and not having associated automatic payments are validated. If the account does not meet these requirements, the payment method changes to face-to-face mode.

For transfers from other banks, payment rejections could be made for reasons such as: the account does not exist, or the account holder is not the beneficiary owner (collector) of the IFE.

How can I change the payment method of the IFE?

The procedure can be carried out by all the beneficiaries who are collectors of their household by entering the site www.ingresodeemergencia.cl and clicking on "Do you have a problem?".

There they must click on "requests" and enter with their Unique Key or with the document number of their identity card.

Subsequently, a form will appear in which the user must select "queries" and then click on "correct or add IFE Universal payment account data".

There the user will be able to change their bank transfer information and/or go from the face-to-face mode to transfer. In the case of those who change their payment method, they must verify that their account is active to receive deposits.

Where is the IFE face-to-face payment collected?

Beneficiaries who receive the IFE in person can collect their money at Banco Estado branches or at the Los Héroes Compensation Fund, as appropriate.

Those who wish to know the exact date and how they will obtain their benefit, must enter the "My payments" section of the site www.ingresodemeergencia.cl, accessing with their Unique Password or document number of their identity card.

After accessing, the user must click on "payment details" and then on "view details", to find out the date and form of payment corresponding to the Universal IFE.
