A sentencing court made up of judges Darío Báez, Víctor Hugo Alfieri and María Luz Martínez sentenced between 3 and 14 years in prison to several police officers who were found guilty of coercing and requesting the sum of US$200,000 and escorting a load of 10 thousand kilos of marijuana in San Juan Bautista, Misiones. The incident was recorded in 2017.
The convicted are non-commissioned officer Roberto Lezcano, who was sentenced to 14 years in prison. Likewise, the aforementioned police agent would be the mastermind of the event, as would Joel Leiva Acosta, who also received 14 years in prison.

The other uniformed men sentenced are Francisco Díaz to 11 years in prison, Eustaquio Zaracho to 13 years in prison, Edgardo Acosta to 5 years in prison, Darío Pimienta to 5 years. While Hugo Ortiz received a sentence of 4 years, 7 months and 26 days in prison, Cirilo González 3 years, also Marcial Flores 3 years. Finally, José Sugo Dafonte (driver) was sentenced to 4 years in prison.
The police agents had accessed intelligence information from Senad about a load of marijuana; however, they used the data to receive money in exchange and even agreed to escort the drug.
