Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become the backbone of many innovative applications in the Smartphone industry. This has a great role in functionalities that provide countless benefits to users, such as virtual assistants or the option of face recognition to unlock the device.
The most interesting thing is that it is not a new technology. Artificial Intelligence made its debut in the 1930s and 1940s, a time when great developments took place with the outbreak of the Second World War. This indicates that, although it is an innovative benchmark of long standing, its applications have only been seen until very recent years.
Now we carry this technology in our pocket everywhere, thanks to the evolution of Chipsets. A component that entered with a size of 28nm at the beginning of 2010, and which has had a great evolution until reaching 4nm today.
“Smartphones learn from ourselves. From the way we use the applications and the device itself, to what we search for or order by voice command”, comments Alexander Rojas, Business Development Manager for Colombia and Central America.
