The year has started well for Anne Igartiburu (Elorrio, Vizcaya, 1969) as far as professional matters are concerned. Last December, Corazón, the social chronicle magazine that has been presenting for more than two decades on TVE, returned to its usual schedule from Monday to Friday after its broadcast had been relegated in 2020 to only weekends. On the other hand, the actress and presenter plans to premiere 10 Moments in the coming weeks, a new interview program in prime time for Telemadrid, in which she will be able to talk with relevant personalities from social and cultural life.
As if that were not enough, Anne continues to do her live shows on her Instagram (@anneigartiburu) with topics of personal development, which she then posts on YouTube. "A long time ago I took a Coaching course, which I took up again during confinement. I started doing live shows with conversations I had with professionals in the field of personal development, philosophers, psychologists, social workers, entrepreneurs... there are already more than 400 talks posted" she says proudly.
With all this in hand, she has little time left to enjoy outside the workplace; even so, she assures that she is not lazy to plant herself in the center of Madrid if the occasion (if it is cultural, better) deserves it. "Although I live on the outskirts, in Alcobendas, anything that comes up in the centre, such as musicals, exhibitions, theatre..., is a perfect excuse to come with or without the children. The cultural offer that is in Madrid now. If the plan is to go to the theater with my children, first we make a snack dinner in a restaurant or cafeteria and, after the show, go home, "he says.
"Of the new ones I've seen, I loved Kinky Boots, in Espacio Delicias (Cristo del Camino, 69). Now that my niece lives with us, we'll go further."
"Anyone. The Prado, the Thyssen, CaixaFórum, the Reina Sofía... I go with the children to quite a few exhibitions. Also, I am lucky that, sometimes, they tell me: 'when we are closing, you come and I'll show you a little more quietly."
"The Temple of Debod, especially during sunset, which is super cool."
"We really like El Retiro. Sometimes, I make a potato omelette and we go there to have a picnic. We also take advantage of the program of activities that the Teatro Real has, in addition to the operas. Every two for three they have something for children ".
"I go out to dinner less than I would like. After the pandemic we have tried to recover, but I am a lot of inviting friends to the house to have something that I usually prepare myself. But if you let me choose a restaurant, I'll stay with Kappo (Breton de los Herreros, 54), a Japanese with traditional cuisine from that country. It is a highly recommended experience to go and delight yourself with friends or with your partner hand in hand. When I want to have a delicious dinner and look good with a person, I go to this place It never disappoints. It's one of those that has a closed menu, it's not cheap, but for a cool getaway with your partner and friends it's spectacular. I recommend the bar."
"Another place that I like is La Penela, a very classic Galician restaurant to eat fish. It has two premises in Madrid: one in La Moraleja (Plaza de la Fuente; Calle Estafeta, 2) and another in Calle Velázquez, 96" .
"Very few, the typical pizzas that children ask for from time to time."
"I really like El Jardín del Ritz (Plaza de la Lealtad, 5) which, moreover, has just been renovated. Jesús Abia is in charge of the cocktail bar, who used to be in the Hotel Wellington. It's wonderful and he makes you some cocktails, with and without alcohol, great".
"I don't have a favorite, I go to showrooms a lot because of my profession, but when I go shopping, I do it in the Salamanca neighborhood, Claudio Coello street, and also in stores on Almirante street."
