At the end of February, Fuenlabrada will have a new Conecta Empleo Shuttle, a free job orientation program to help unemployed people to change and reactivate their search for work as a team, with new job orientation techniques and digital tools, adapted to the new market employment, marked by the digital transformation of professional sectors. The initiative is totally free.
It is promoted by Fundación Santa María la Real and Fundación Telefónica. It is co-financed by the European Social Fund (through the POISES operational program) and the collaboration of the Fuenlabrada City Council through the CIFE.
The Conecta Empleo Shuttle will begin in February and will be operational until the end of July 2022, to offer free job guidance to a maximum of 30 people. Unemployed men and women, aged between 18 and 60, can participate. They can have any level of studies (ESO, Vocational Training, Baccalaureate, University, Master, etc.) and come from any professional sector, with or without previous experience. Mixed format: online + face-to-face The people who are selected to participate in the program will meet several days a week virtually (through different computer applications) and face-to-face at the CIFE facilities, provided free of charge by the City Council.

There, all the required hygiene, safety and social distance measures will be in place. However, the program may go to a fully online format if required by the pandemic situation.
The initiative, in previous editions, has achieved a 60% insertion
They will have the advice of specialists in job guidance, digital tools and contacts with companies, who will guide them to improve their employability and pursue their insertion. They will carry out emotional intelligence dynamics to learn how to develop a comprehensive job prospecting plan and focus on their professional objective; updating resumes and simulations of job interviews; employability maps and contacts with companies.
They will also learn to use new digital tools, applications and social networks to boost their job search in the online environment.
People interested in participating in the next Lanzadera Conecta Empleo have until February 14 to register on the website www.lanzaderasconectaempleo.es. They can also do it in person at the CIFE (Avenida de las Provincias, 33), from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
