“Justice, justice you will pursue” is the Spanish translation of the Hebrew expression “tzedek, tzedek tirdof” present in the Torah, to be more precise in Deuteronomy, and it has been interpreted and misinterpreted so many times and in so many ways. ways that even the former Supreme Maurifice had the luxury of “pursuing justice”, catching it and locking it up in some hidden place, while replacing it with something that didn't even look like it.
With all his sick, economic and infodemic means, he made us believe that “it” was justice. "That" is what some call "lawfare", that is: "With justice, you will persecute whomever it is convenient for you to persecute", while others do not have a word in Spanish and that is why they use the Latin locution MMLPQTP, that goes one to know quid carajum means.
Apparently, in ancient times, the word present in the Hebrew text was not "justice" but "truth" (Gugl told me, he never lies). And some Talmudist (student of the sacred Hebrew texts) friend was kind enough to explain to me that the ancient Hebrews believed that "without truth, there is no justice", with which they were already telling us about a path that passed through the truth to reach Justice.
Too bad the former Sumo, the Patríficie Magna, the Heidi Manontroppo and the rest of the band that contains and shelters them did not consult their Talmudist friend, or someone else, or whoever could explain the difference between "truth" and “decree”, between “evidence” and “what I love”, between “court” and “tennis court” or, even, between “judges” and “buddies”.
Perhaps they did not master ancient Hebrew or Latin and that is why they confused the direct object with the indirect one and, instead of pursuing "justice", they pursued "justice". Don't know. And my Talmudist friend couldn't explain it to me either. He told me that it was one thing to interpret ancient sacred texts and quite another to give a logical meaning to the cambiemite times.
On the other hand, the concept of justice is not the same for everyone. Personally, I believe more in social justice than individual justice: for example, if someone is killed and then the murderer (specific or instigator) is prosecuted and imprisoned, that does not "bring back to life" the dead person. The “strictly fair” thing would be that they did not kill him.
But, instead, it is a signal for society. It tells us, collectively, that there is a limit. That all of us, beyond other dissidences, share some rules that allow us to go out without seeing a hitman, hoplite or similar in every neighbor. That society, with the law and its mandatory compliance, limits certain individual (or group) behaviors in pursuit of certain shared values and established as legal principles for all.

And here comes the drama of Argentine history. Because neoliberalism, in its three disastrous flavors, demolished one by one those established and current social agreements:
In the name of Liberty (of the market), they annihilated Equality (of rights), not to mention Fraternity (among all people).
If "killing, stealing, lying" (in addition to spying, persecuting, impoverishing, etc.) are things that "yes, you can", then we can hardly find justice if we pursue it, since they have left it so skinny that flies with the slightest breeze.
The justice of these people is a “self-perceived” justice: more linked to subjectivity (a word that some use to avoid saying “convenience” because it looks ugly) than to the real evidence that the law determines:
I know that asking ex-Supremo Maurífice for something else is like asking not for pears but, say, an apple rhum pancake... from a toad. But perhaps the answer is not in him, but in ourselves, with respect to looking for a way that this justice, not infallible but that can repair a society so wounded, shows signs of life and work.
