The story of Frida Sofia's arrest in Miami took a new turn on Tuesday, when the fancy restaurant where she was detained revealed that she was asked to leave after she refused to pay her bill.

Alejandra Guzmán's daughter was arrested on Monday, January 24 at around 9:15 p.m. at the Joia restaurant and was later booked and charged with disturbing public order and refusing to be arrested, which means that the celebrity he spent nearly 24 hours behind bars, according to authorities.

After being released on Monday late at night, the artist told journalists who were waiting for her outside that she was arrested "because I interrupted the (environment) of Joia" and that security guards from the place caused bruises on her forearm by holding her after accuse her of having stolen water.

"Literally, the manager did not like me and they wanted to take me out and they took me out, but they took me out very ugly," said Frida Sofía, showing her bruises.

The restaurant, however, has another version. Without mentioning her by name, the business told Univision through its publicist that Frida Sofía was fired after inconveniencing other diners and refusing to pay for what she had consumed.

"We asked a diner to leave on Sunday night after inconveniencing other people and refusing to pay her bill at the venue," said Chad Fabrikant, representative of Carma Connected.

The publicist added that Frida Sofía was arrested by "a policeman who works there every night."

“(He) asked her multiple times for her to leave her, and when she refused, she was arrested and then we called more police to the scene. We are grateful to the Miami Police Department for acting promptly and professionally," he added.

Asked to leave the restaurant by police, the celebrity allegedly yelled, "You can't make me leave!" and then she allegedly resisted arrest.

"Yes, this is unfair to me and that you go to dinner and …", said the artist, touching her bruises.

According to Miami Police spokeswoman Kenya Fallat, Frida Sofía was arrested after she "tried to hit the officer."

"That's where he arrests her and charges her with two charges, one resisting an officer without violence and also the fact that she was engaging in disorderly conduct," the spokeswoman said.

Sporting purple hair, the influencer said that she was going to take legal action against the restaurant's security company, but she did not elaborate.

Frida Sofía left prison bruised, hungry and alone, saying that the prison's sanitary services were "disgusting" and that inside she had been yelled at and had not been given anything to eat.

“You know what is sad? That no one from my family is here. Let them see Literal,” she told multiple reporters.

It is also not known who posted bail for her, which was $1,500 for both counts.

Although she was allowed to make a phone call, she did not make it because apparently she did not know anyone's phone number and all of her contacts were on her cell phone, which she did not know where she had stayed.

“I had filmed them and had it all on my phone,” she pointed out.

Completely alone, Frida Sofía hugged several journalists upon leaving prison and asked one of them to take her to her house.

“I had nowhere to go. Today I grabbed this and they gave me a (bus ticket) and I launched. I manage,” she added. "So that they see that fame and glamor are not 24 hours a day, my life, and it is not how they paint it," she pointed out. "I'm ready to live and appreciate everything I have and to see my dog."

"Frida is free," she said as she got into a car with a smile.
