The images cannot have identity documents, biometric information, medical records, contact data such as telephone numbers or emails, credit card numbers or financial information in general.
In the case of images of people, there will be some exceptions when it comes to public figures, as long as the text that accompanies the tweet "be of public interest or add some value".On the contrary, when the objective of the images or videos that are published is none other than to harass or abuse an individual, the platform reserves the right to eliminate the content, hide it or even block the account that publishes it.
"We will always try to evaluate the context under which the content is shared," says Twitter. Therefore, there will be occasions in which the publication will not be eliminated nor will there be any sanction, especially when it is “relevant to the community” or when it is removed from some other means, such as screenshots of a television channel,an image of a newspaper or something like that.
As usual, time will say if these types of policies are effective in reducing toxicity in social networks.Twitter has made efforts in that area in recent dates, although they never seem enough to eliminate the trolls once and for all.
