You can now apply for the Youth Transport Card. Last December, the Junta de Andalucía approved the Youth Transport Card, with a 50% discount for young people.
The creation of a specific card for youth pursues two objectives:
As an action to promote and promote the use of public transport as well as to create awareness of the advantages of its use among the young population, framed all this in the measures to promote and promote the employability of young people carried out by the government of Andalusia, the Youth Transport Card is created, which implies:
The Jovense Card can be used in all means of transport covered by the Transport Consortiums of the metropolitan areas of Andalusia.
With this additional 25% bonus on recharging, the user will be able to use the youth transport card in all modes of public transport of the Andalusian Metropolitan Transport Consortiums without distinction in the metropolitan area (metropolitan buses, catamaran , subways, urban buses, etc.). In addition, interoperability would continue to be guaranteed, that is, a youth card from a Consortium would also apply to the rest of the Consortiums.
All young people under 30 years of age, resident in Andalusia and who are citizens of the European Union, may apply for the card. For those young people who are also holders of a Large Family Card, the discount would be cumulative.
To apply this discount, the same procedure that is currently established for personalized Large Family cards in Consortiums is used, that is, applying the recharge bonus: A 25% recharge bonus would apply, which translates into a 20% discount on the trip fare.
This card is for personal use and non-transferable, so it has the user's photo as well as their name and ID superimposed /NIE. In the case of a young person and a large family, the card to be issued is the Large Family card on which the double bonus will be applied in recharging, the young person and the large family card that will be cumulative over the previous ones.
NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION. To obtain the youth transport card it is necessary to provide the following documentation:
ON-LINE APPLICATION. Fill in the online form available on the website of each Consortium and attach the required documentation:
PRESENTIAL APPLICATION. The printed and completed form will be submitted, as well as the original documentation requested. The form can be collected at the offices themselves or downloaded from the website of each Consortium (previous links).
