"Although each user is free to do what they want with their personal data, sharing certain information can have very serious consequences for our security," from this premise the Security Office of the Internet Safety of the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) shows seven typesof data and information that should not be shared, under any circumstances, on the Internet if we want to keep our privacy and personal security safe.
More and more Spaniards are navigating and buying online.This makes the victims of deception increase through the network, since sharing the data allows anyone to save them although later they have been erased.
For this reason, the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) alerts and provides a list of good practices so as not to fall into the error of publishing content that repent later is late.
1.Although it is common for them to be used to register on webs.«We expose ourselves to being victims of spam, phishing and all kinds of cyber attacks," they point out from the office.
2.Sharing our location in real time or the address of our home is very dangerous."We do not know the intentions of someone who may be interested in knowing where we live, what are the places we frequent or when we are not at home".
3."We all die from showing our son, nephew or grandson, especially in social networks".However, we do not know where these images can end or who can have access to them.The best thing is to cover your face somehow.
4.The fact of uploading photos to our social networks and the Internet already has an impact on our digital identity and must be done with the head.Publishing compromising or intimate or sexual photos can be a great threat to our safety and have very serious consequences, such as sexants or cyberbullying.
5.Our ID, driving card, employment contract or bank data are very sensitive personal data.With its revelation we expose ourselves, for example, to an impersonation of identity and the use of our data fraudulently.
6.It is common to use the Internet to express and share criticism and complaints."However, a comment up of everything on the network can reach the ears of people who may feel offended or even attacked, and that our comments may not be taken too well".
7.In the same way that we should not share third -party photos without their approval, private conversations are not something we should share on the Internet, especially if they contain personal data or information that could be considered as revelation of secrets and the other person would prefer not to disseminate.
