Video surveillance promoted by robots and artificial intelligence

Johnson Controls offers solutions with predictive technology that offer a vision of what video surveillance will be in 2022.

Current video surveillance solutions include predictive technology to know the habits of those who circulate anywhere.

Johnson Controls offers a vision of the course that will take video surveillance in 2022, where organizations may be one step forward in the detection of people outside the facilities, incidents and suspicious activities.

The cameras will be like any accessory

There are more and more industries that require portable surveillance such as factories that use them as quality control or as an inventory control.

Videovigilancia impulsada por robots e Inteligencia Artificial

According to Luis Enrique Bonilla, business development manager for Latin America and the Caribbean in Johnson Controls, one of the advantages of body cameras is in the transmission of video in real time.

This prevents them from transporting the equipment from one place to another for the download of the video.

In addition, these devices have a panic button that allows to obtain support from a monitoring center where the alarm will be received and managed.

Robotics, the future of security

From the point of view of security, the autonomous robots of Johnson Controls provide a motion surveillance point that addresses the monotonous security tasks associated to observe, patrol and inform.

Some of the activities of the robots units include: detection and recognition of people, object detections and incident prevention.

"With robotics we not only take a step forward regarding video surveillance, but also safeguard the integrity of human capital," said Bonilla.

Finally, Tyco robots have the ability to carry out an autonomous response to events and send live images to video management systems and cloud.
